how to apply

First, fill out our Application Form and submit it to our office. Admission to Chinatown Day Care Center is based on a rolling enrollment system. Families may apply at any time. Acceptance is based on space availability. There is no registration fee to apply or to be placed on the wait list.

Complete the online Application Form 報名表 to apply for a seat.

If you are interested in applying to our free or low-cost DOE-funded 3-K or Pre-K program, then go to MySchools.nyc. Our school program code is 02MATL.

* Note, DOE determines 3-K and Pre-K eligibility and seat offers. Priority will be given to current students and siblings of current students. However, walk-ins are only available if there are open seats left after the registration period.

When seats are available, the office will contact parents to come in to our center for registration. You will need to bring your child and complete the following forms during registration. Children must have a current medical health form at the time of enrollment (i.e. prior to first day of class). Please keep the school updated with ongoing immunization records.

*Payments through PayPal will incur a 3% transaction fee. No fee for payments through Zelle.*

Deposit, first month's tuition, and $100 registration fee are required during registration to enroll all children and guarantee placement at the school. Please note, there are no refunds for deposit, tuition, or registration fee.

DOE-funded 3-K and Pre-k Registration 教育局三歲與四歲學前班註冊表:

B) New SDY Student 新SDY學生 or

Returning SDY Student 繼續就讀SDY學生 or

New EDY Student 新延長EDY學生 or

C) Two Verifiable Proofs of Address 兩份地址證明

- lease, deed, or mortgage

- utility (water, gas, electric) or cable bill

- letter from government agency

- rent receipts

- government ID (driver's license, non-driver ID, NYCID)

- tax forms

- voter registration

- pay stub

If your child is in the 6-hours 20-mins SDY Program and would like After-Care (3:00pm-6:00pm), which includes Chinese Language Enrichment classes, then please contact our office staff by calling 212-431-3845 or email chinatowndaycare@yahoo.com. There is a monthly tuition fee for the After-Care Program.
